Meet our Sales Managers

Angela Coner, Director of Sales and Marketing

Angela serves as the Director of Sales and Marketing for The Westin Indianapolis where she is a member of the Executive Committee.  She oversees Director and Management level Sales, Catering, and Convention Services teams as well as all marketing and advertising initiatives for the property. Angela joined Starwood Hotels in 2005 as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Sheraton Indianapolis Keystone and was promoted to The Westin Indianapolis in August of 2014. She has been in the industry over 20+ years with experience including Owner Relations, Revenue Management, Multi Property and Full Service Leadership.  Angela is a lifelong resident of Indiana where she resides with her husband and daughter.

Kimberly Timmons, Account Director, Special Events, Professional Sports, Tour, & Corporate West

Kimberly graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Restaurant, Hotel & Institutional Management. Kimberly began interning during the summer at The Westin Indianapolisin June of 1997, and became a full time member of our team in 1999, filling many positions ranging from Front Desk Supervisor to Sales Manager. In 2002, she was promoted to Corporate Sales Manager, and in November of 2009 she was again promoted to the position of Director of Sales.

Kimberly's passion: "Football. I am a HUGE NFL fan, and it is my passion to visit every football stadium in America! Not to mention that I am a SUNDAY TICKET subscriber."

Jayne Boyd, Account Director, National Association East

Jayne graduated from North Central High School and J. Everett Light Career Center with a focus on Marketing and Merchandising and has been a member of The Westin Indianapolis Sales team for five years. Jayne has worked in the hotel industry for 29 years in various positions including Catering and Convention Services and served as Director of Sales and Marketing at a suburban property.

Jayne's Passion: "I Love to travel and hope to do more of it. I enjoy experiencing other cities, cultures and the entire hotel and dining experience. "

Michael Grabowski, Group Sales Manager

Michael was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis with a focus on Tourism, Convention and Event Management. He began his hospitality career as a program manager at Conseco, Inc, then migrated to the hospitality industry as a convention service manager at the Sheraton North. He then went on to become a Sales Manager for the Sheraton before he moved to White Lodging as a Cluster Sales Manager.

In 2013 Michael returned to Starwood at The Westin Indianapolis where he is enjoying the opportunity to represent the brand that he loves. Being an avid sports fan Michael not only enjoys playing sports but also enjoys following his favorites sporting teams which include the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, Indiana Pacers and Indiana Hoosiers.
Michael’s Passion : “My family. My wife Melissa, my two daughters Grace and Nora and our family dog Alice."

Tracy Bonds, Business Travel Sales Manager

Tracy grew-up in Indianapolis and has enjoyed watching the city that she loves grow. She attended Ball State University and graduated with a bachelor degree in Travel & Tourism, and a Minor in Japanese Language & French. After college Tracy worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager at the Indianapolis Athletic Club before accepting a Corporate Sales position with Remington Hotel Corporation at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre, where she remained for 13 years in an array of positions. Next in her professional journey Tracy accepted a position with the Marriott team where she remained for a few years before returning to Starwood Hotels and Resorts here at The Westin Indianapolis.

Kate White, Director of Event Management

Kate was born in Mesa, Arizona, but at an early age made her to Pittsburgh, "the City of Champions"... and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Though she has not lived in Western Pennsylvania since the early 1990's, she still calls it "home".  During her years at The Westin Indianapolis, Kate has arranged for us to be a headquarter hotel for four NCAA men's and women's Final Four Basketball Championships, as well as the National Football League's (NFL) annual Scouting Combine/Video Directors/Competition Committee Meetings since 1999. Kate was a 2009 nominee for Starwood C.S. Leader of the Year and led her team to Convention Services Team of the Year.

Kate's Passions: "I love my three rescue dogs, good wine and, of course, Steelers football. I also recently developed a new appreciation for the speed bag at the gym and have the gloves to prove it!"

Andrea Galvan, CMP, Catering Sales Manager

Andrea started her career with The Westin Indianapolis in 1992 as a Front Desk Night Auditor while attending Indiana Business College for Travel & Tourism. Once she decided she loved the Westin brand and the hotel industry, she set out to experience as many different areas of hotel operations as possible. Over the course of the next twenty years, she held roles in front office, housekeeping, accounting, convention services and catering sales.  She also assisted with the opening of The Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio. 

Andrea's Passion: "Spending time with family and friends. My husband and I also have a beautiful young son. Watching him grow and learn new things every day is absolutely amazing!"

Rebecca Moore, CMP, Meeting and Event Manager

Born and raised a Hoosier, Rebecca has lived in Indiana her entire life. A graduate of the University of Evansville (Go Purple Aces!) with a BA degree in Advertising, Rebecca has been in the hospitality industry since 1989. She began her hospitality career as a Banquet Server while in college and went on to become a Catering Coordinator, Banquet Manager, Sales Manager and has even held the title of Meeting Manager for a prominent medical education company.  Today, Rebecca loves coming to work each day as the Meeting and Event Manager at The Westin Indianapolis. Rebecca received her CMP certification in 2009, and was nominated for ACOM convention services manager of the year by one of her clients in 2008.

Becky's Passion: "I have fantastic pen pals - over 40 ‘friends’ from all over the world!"

John Saveley, Meeting and Event Manager

John was born and raised in Mattoon, Illinois known as the "Bagel Capital of the World". After graduating high school, he moved with his family to Indianapolis and attended Butler University. John started his hotel career in 1989 in our restaurant. Before working in the sales and marketing department as a Convention Services Manager in 1997, John held many positions at The Westin Indianapolis. John truly enjoys working for a world class brand.

John is an active member with CARA Charities which is an auto racing auxiliary and raises money to benefit children which works closely with Riley's Children's Hospital

John's Passion: "I enjoy spending time at home working on home improvements and spending time with my family and our dog, Riley and cat, Sammie."
